Swan goes big with a massive mirror
There have been some cracking fish on local banks this week – including a 47lb carp and a 12lb tench!
Fishing an MK area lake saw GoneFishin co-owner Richard Swan lit-up like a lighthouse over the capture of a massive mirror.

But only a few miles away another man was also living the dream. Although he'd been after carp, that made Chris Hamilton's 12-1 tench none the less of a dream fish.
It came from Beacon AC's Mount Farm and was hooked close in to the banks. Chris said: "I don't think it knew it was hooked, I thought it was a bream at first. It felt big. I couldn't believe the size of for a tench."
ANOTHER big tench – certainly by river standards – fell to young Callum Webb on Olney's section and weighed in 7-11, just short of the club's record. Matt Tysoe had a 6-7 and Josh Spearman a 5-6 from Olney's sections.

Russell Smith had his first MKAA waters carp, a nice 9-8 Wolverton Mill common. John Frost had a nine and Stefan Clark's young nephew had a ball with smaller samples on the pole. Bradwell is still producing good tench and bream.
