Front row for Red Bull
Aussie Webber is second quickest in Milton Keynes built car
Tilbrook based Red Bull Racing are celebrating at Silverstone this afternoon (Saturday) after clinching a place on the front row of the grid for tomorrow's British Grand Prix.
Aussie Mark Webber will line up alongside pole sitter Heikki Kovalainen (McLaren) in the city built Red Bull Renault - the team's best ever qualifying position and proof, if it were needed, that Webber is having a barnstorming season in designer Adrian Newey's latest car.
His best lap was half a second shy of the flying Finn, but quicker than both the Ferraris and British crowd favourite Lewis Hamilton in the other McLaren in a tense final session which gave the team back at the Milton Keynes factory a tremendous boost.
David Coulthard, who announced he is retiring from the sport at the season ending Brazilian Grand Prix, will line up 11th on the grid in the other Red Bull RB4 for his final British Grand Prix, a race he won at Silverstone in 1999 and 2000.
The race is live on ITV at 1pm on Sunday, and rain is predicted.
