Votes from all 133 Milton Keynes EU ballot boxes now being counted
All 133 ballot boxes, collected from 133 polling stations across the city, had arrived at the stadium:mk venue shortly after 11pm.
An exceptionally high turnout of voters was reported and, despite an absence of exit polls, officials are already stating MK will be a tight race between Leave and Remain.

Hide AdNationally the YouGov poll puts the ‘In’ camp in the lead by four points, with 52 per cent of respondents voting to remain and 48 per cent voting to leave.
One Milton Keynes source said: “MK has tended to reflect national trends in the past couple of parliamentary elections, but the EU referendum is a whole new ball game. The result is impossible to predict.”
