Three people arrested in Milton Keynes drugs bust

Police arrested three people after a crop of cannabis was found during a drugs bust in Milton Keynes.

Thames Valley Police (TVP) said officers attended an address in Warwick Place, Bletchley, at around 4.15pm on Wednesday (September 23) and found a small quantity of drugs at the property.

TVP said on Twitter: "SouthNHPT have arrested three people after a cannabis cultivation set-up was located in a flat on Warwick Place."

A TVP spokesperson said a 29-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, both from Bletchley, were arrested on suspicion of drug offences, and a 27-year-old with no fixed address was also arrested on suspicion of drug offences.

The 29 year-old man has been released under investigation, according to police.

Officers said the 23-year-old woman and 27-year-old man have both been released with no further action to be taken.

TVP has urged anyone who suspects anyone cultivating or supplying drugs to report it on 101.
