Council say pub in Milton Keynes should be demolished to make way for housing
The move to bulldoze the Suffolk Punch at Heelands comes despite a two-year battle and objections from ward councillors and many residents.
High Street Homes’ planning application to build 27 houses and a community hall will be considered by the development control committee on March 9.

These conditions insist High Street Homes pay £75,000 towards local affordable housing.
Officers say the proposed community hall will compensate for the loss of a central hub and public amenity on the estate.
