Charles Bronson donates money to help with child's cerebral palsy treatment
Charles Bronson, who was an inmate at Woodhill prison for several years, came across Ben’s story in the paper and organised for one of his work’s to be auctioned.
The family of Ben, who is from Stoke-on-Trent, pay £2,000 every month for their son’s treatment and have been campaigning for help with funding for several years.

Hide AdBronson’s piece sold for £510 and all proceeds went to Ben’s fund-raising page after an unnamed person’s winning bid on eBay.
Bronson was originally jailed for armed robbery in 1974 and has a history filled with violence.
Ben wrote to thank Bronson for his donation and even received a reply from the inmate.
Bronson wrote back saying he “is proud of” Ben and also sent him £50 spending money to treat himself to “whatever he wants”.
