Brian Hird suffered a heart attack four years ago and afterwards joined the MK-based Redway Runners to keep fit.
Since then he is a regular participant in Park Runs and training sessions all over the area.

Last year Lorraine was diagnosed with breast cancer and has since undergone chemotherapy and surgery.
"She is doing well, but I wanted to do something to help," said Brian.
He has set up a fundraising page for his half marathon run, which will be carried out virtually on May 1, and aims to raise £150 for the Breast Cancer Now charity.

Afterwards Brian will focus on his next ambition - completing the Great North Run half marathon in September.
Meanwhile Lorraine is hoping to return to running by the end of the year.
"I'm looking forward to having my running partner back," said Brian, who lives in Deanshanger and was a mechanic specialising in Rolls Royce and Aston Martin cars before he retired.
